The 2015 NCAA Tournament is officially underway, and as people have their brackets filled out, one of the more intriguing matchups is the Buffalo Bulls against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
This is the classic No.5 vs. No. 12 matchup, that has had the No. 12 team almost become the favorites in the past few years. The Bulls and Mountaineers are both 23-9 on the season, as the Bulls come from the MAC Conference, and the Mountaineers from the Big 12.
As we see so often in the tournament these teams have contrasting styles, which should make for a fun game. West Virginia is extremely good at forcing turnovers, while the Bulls’ backcourt is very good at protecting the ball.
On Friday afternoon, these two teams will be facing off in the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Here are five bold predictions for what should be a great game between the Bulls and Mountaineers.
