New York Jets: First-Round Options in 2015 NFL Draft
It’s a new era for the New York Jets. New general manager Mike Maccagnan and head coach Todd Bowles have already started this offseason with a bang. Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie are back! Newly acuired Buster Skrine is an up and coming corner who may make us forget about Kyle Wilson and actually play the slot well. Brandon Marshall is now the team’s No. 1 wide receiver, and that most likely will open things up for Eric Decker, Jace Amaro, and Jeremy Kerley. There is a lot to be excited about if you are a Jets fan.
The Jets are spending money this offseason, but that is not the important part. They are spending wisely. They aren’t having a typical Oakland Raiders or Washington Redskins offseason. The Jets don’t seem to be spending money just to spend money. They are doing so to fill the biggest hole on the team, the secondary. With last season’s biggest issue seemingly fixed, it has opened up a lot of avenues for the Jets to go in the first-round. Who will the Jets draft? I take a look at a few interesting options for their first selection in this year’s draft.
