– Rangers will prevail
So far this season series has been dominated by the Islanders, as in the four games they have played, the Islanders have won three of them. The Islanders dominated the Rangers in the first three games of the season, winning by scores of 6-3, 3-0, and 4-1. Most recently however, the Rangers were able to defeat the Islanders in a barn-burner, by a score of 6-5. Talbot has started in that most recent game, and although the Islanders scored five goals against him, this will be a much more confident goalie they will be facing this time around.
In that game, the Islanders just simply could not hold a lead, as a hungry Rangers team seemed to want it more. The Rangers are playing better hockey than the Islanders are right now, and with the Islanders playing a game in Toronto the day before one of the biggest games of the season, the Rangers should be able to pull off a road win.
