– Yandle makes an impact

The Rangers were one of the more active teams in the NHL at the trade deadline, and pulled off arguably the biggest trade this season. With a need to improve at defenseman, the Rangers pulled off a blockbuster deal with the Arizona Coyotes to acquire offensive defenseman Keith Yandle.

Yandle is still adjusting to playing with the Rangers, as he has yet to produce a point in three games with the team. Yandle is getting his shots on goal so far, as he is averaging over two shots per game, but hasn’t been a factor for the Rangers’ offense yet.

On the season, Yandle has 41 points with 37 assists and four goals, so it’s just a matter of time before he’ll get some points. Sadly for the Islanders, Yandle has only recorded one point in the last 10 games, so he is certainly due to have a breakout game with his new team.
