The 2000 NFL Draft would be one of the biggest in Jets franchise history, as they had four picks in the first-round. The Jets would use those picks on Shaun Ellis, John Abraham, Chad Pennington, and Anthony Becht. With the 13th overall pick that year, Abraham would go on to the biggest impact player of them all.

Abraham would play his first six seasons with the Jets, and when he was on the field was one of the most dominant pass-rushers in the NFL. In 73 games with the Jets, Abraham would have 53.5 sacks. His best season with the Jets was in 2001, as he had 13 sacks, six forced fumbles, and one touchdown.

Abraham went on to have a lot of success in Atlanta, as for his career he has 133.5 sacks. Abraham was one of those players that would have been even better if it weren’t for injuries, as much of his early career with the Jets was plagued by them.
