The NFL Draft is a crucial time for all NFL franchises including the New York Jets. All teams have their busts and successes, but for the Jets in New York, their mistakes are under more scrutiny than other teams with the large media market of New York.
Despite a lot of poor draft picks in franchise history, the Jets do have some very successful ones in the first-round. First-round picks are generally the ones that can make or break a franchise, and sadly for the Jets they haven’t had too many first-round picks that have been franchise-players, but they have had impact players.
Even though the Jets have a reputation for being a poor team when it comes to drafting players they have seen some players with great careers in the NFL.
