I may get some flack for this one but in a sport with no salary cap, the Yankees have unlimited funds. Yes, they have missed the playoffs two years straight, but until the MLB implements a cap, the Yankees will always be tough to keep out of the playoffs. The health of their aging roster can determine whether this is a playoff team or at the bottom of the AL East.
