7. Re-signed Chris Capuano

Grade: B

Chris Capuano was only brought back to the Yankees to be a stopgap. They would have much rather re-signed Brandon McCarthy, but his price tag was more than they wanted to pay. Still, Capuano is a good option as an inexpensive veteran left-hander, and should be able to pitch well enough to keep the Yankees in ball games like he did last season.
