Anytime there is a good player available for a trade, the Los Angeles are usually interested. Things have been rough for the Lakers the past few seasons with a poor roster, and lots of injuries to their star Kobe Bryant.
The Lakers’ franchise is known for their talented big men, but they currently don’t have any after trading Andrew Bynum for Dwight Howard, and then losing Howard in free agency to the Houston Rockets.
Last season could be the final one for Bryant, which means that the Lakers could try to go all-in to put some talent around Bryant. If that becomes the case, Lopez and possibly Williams or Johnson could be heading to Los Angeles.
