Easily one of the hottest teams in the NHL over the past month has been the Rangers. In the last month the Rangers have only lost one game in that time period, as December 29th they lost to the Dallas Stars on the road.
During that time period the Rangers have had an eight-game winning streak before it was snapped by the Stars, and they are now currently on a five-game winning streak. The last time the Rangers lost at home was on December 1st to the Tampa Bay Lightning, so the Islanders will have a tall task ahead of them on Tuesday night.
