Tuesday night will be the final game of a seven-game road-trip for the Islanders even though they are back in New York, they certainly have to miss their home ice by now. The seven-game road-trip has been successful for the Islanders, as through six games they have a 4-2 record.

In the Canadian portion of their road-trip, the Islanders spit four games with wins against the Winnipeg Jets and Calgary Flames, but they had a big letdown against the Edmonton Oilers, and then lost a hard fought game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Back in America for the final two games, the Islanders would bounce back with an OT win against the New Jersey Devils, and then cruise to a victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and they will looking to wrap up their road-trip with a win against the Rangers.
