The Chicago Bears, like the Jets, had a disappointing season, which included who they thought would be their franchise QB in Jay Cutler. Cutler may very well be available for the Jets to get, as the Bears are going through coaching changes just like the Jets.

Last season was a poor one for Cutler, but his stats still blow away what the Jets have received from the QB position. In 2014, Cutler threw for 3,812 yards with 28 TD and 18 INT. Cutler is best described as a gunslinger, which is something that if all else fails would bring some excitement to the Jets’ offense.

Cutler is owed a lot of money by the Bears, and there is a very slim chance that the Jets would take Cutler with the current contract that he has, but if the Bears decide to part ways with Cutler, the Jets will certainly take a look at him.
