One of the possible first round picks in the NFL draft is UCLA QB Brett Hundley. Hundley was one of the best college QB last season with 3,155 passing yards, 22 TD, and just five INT. Hundley is a very athletic and a talented runner, as in three years with UCLA he had nearly 160 carries each season.
Hundley is projected to go in bottom half of the first round in some mock drafts, so if the Jets think that he can be their franchise QB, they will certainly be able to move down in the draft to get him along with a nice package of picks in return from a team looking to move up.
Even though Hundley holds the UCLA records for total offense and TD passes, his move to the NFL can be a difficult one of he doesn’t go into the right situation. With the Jets’ front office and head coaching position in limbo, it’s hard to tell what kind of offense they will run, which can certainly effect their interest in Hundley.
