The next option for the Jets’ QB position is Brian Hoyer of the Browns, who will be a free agent in the offseason, and with the Manziel situation, one of them will likely not be brought back, and it very well could be Hoyer.

Hoyer was a main reason for one of the better seasons for the Browns since they came back into the NFL, and as a starter going back to last season before he was injured, he has a good record. This season, Hoyer had 3,326 yards passing with 12 TD and 13 INT.

The main cause of Hoyer being benched was that out of those 13 INT in the season, nine of them came in the last five games that he played in, and in three straight games he had multiple INT.

Hoyer finds ways to win games somehow despite not having eye-popping stats, but if the trend of him turning the ball over continues, Hoyer will not win many football games.
