Another QB who could be available for the Jets to look into acquiring is the Philadelphia Eagles’ Nick Foles. Foles is best known for his 2013 season after he took over for an ineffective Vick. In 2013, Foles had 27 TD to just two INT and he led the Eagles to the postseason.
2014 wasn’t nearly as good for Foles in what he hoped would be his first full season as a starter. Before suffering a season-ending injury, Foles had 13 TD and 10 INT in eight games before Mark Sanchez took over as the QB for the rest of the year.
Chip Kelly now has control of player personnel so it will be interesting to see who he truly would like to run his fast paced offense in the 2015 season and beyond, as Foles was a holdover from the previous regime.
