  1. Halak Goes For 3 Straight

So far this season against the Devils, Islanders’ goalie Jaroslav Halak has been very good, picking up two victories in the two games so far. In those two wins, Halak has 60 saves on 63 chances, which is a great .952 save percentage.

All season Halak has been great, as he has a 21-8 record, while allowing just 2.30 goals per game. Halak did struggle on the second half of the Islanders’ road-trip, especially against the Edmonton Oilers, in what was a shocking loss for the Islanders.

A game against the Devils could be exactly what Halak needs to get back on track along with his teammates against the low-scoring Devils’ offense.
