Be More Youthful

People are always looking to find that fountain of youth, looking for things to make themselves feel younger. For some people, it could be do something thrill seeking; riding roller coasters, scaling a mountain, skydiving. For an NBA team, the quickest way to get youthful is through the NBA Draft. For the Knicks, this is something of a foreign concept as they rarely have their own draft pick, and even more rarely are choosing near the top even with some of the putrid records they have had over the last decade. That all looks like it will change this season, as the Knicks are finally combining a horrible record with a draft pick of their own.

The prospect of tanking doesn’t seem to be what the Knicks are doing; they just aren’t a very good team as currently put together. That means they could land a top pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, and the possibility of adding a franchise cornerstone. Right now the Knicks have the most losses in the NBA, and at worst would have the fourth overall pick. They would be hoping to land a little higher so that they could select either Jahlil Okafor of Duke or Karl-Anthony Towns of Kentucky. Both would be great players to add for the Knicks as potential franchise cornerstones and each being a fountain of youth for the franchise.
