In his first full season with the Mets, Zack Wheeler was very good for the Mets, as he continues to develop as a pitcher. In 2014, Wheeler was 11-11 with a 3.54 ERA in 185.1 innings.
Wheeler is a power pitcher, and in 2014 he led the Mets with 187 strikeouts, and was second out of the Mets’ starters just narrowly behind Jon Niese in ERA. The future is bright for Wheeler, and 2014 was a good start in the career of the young right-hander
