Last season a big part of the Rangers’ success was their 5 foot-7 inch right winger Mats Zuccarello. In the 13-14 season, Zuccarello led the Rangers in points with 59, and was tied for the team-lead in assists at 40 with Derek Stepan.

In the postseason, Zuccarello was one of the better Rangers at generating offense, as he had 13 points. That was enough for fifth on the team in the playoffs.

This season hasn’t been as good for Zuccarello, as he has just 19 points so far, but as a whole, the calender year of 2014 has been a successful one for Zuccarello.
