In 2014, one of only two New York teams to make the playoffs were the Brooklyn Nets, after a big offseason when they acquired Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. With a star-studded roster, the Nets were able to make it out of the first round, barely beating the Toronto Raptors before being eliminated by LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
Easily the best and most consistent player last season in the Nets’ playoff run, and this season so far, has been Joe Johnson. Last season he led the Nets in scoring with 15.8 PPG and this season he once again is leading the way for the Nets with 16.6 PPG.
