5.) Carmelo Anthony
The New York Knicks have been a total disappointment in 2014, and especially in this regular season, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Carmelo Anthony is by far the best basketball player in New York, and that has been no different in 2014.
Anthony was an All-Star in the 2013-14 season, and will be heading their again in all likelihood in 2015. This season, Anthony is averaging 23.9 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 3.1 APG. Despite being fifth in the NBA in scoring, it still has only resulted in five wins for the Knicks and multiple long losing streaks.
There is a major concern surrounding Anthony’s knee as we head into 2015, as Anthony has missed time this season because of it, and will likely need some kind of knee procedure done.
