One of the biggest offseason acquisitions in 2014 in New York was the New York Jets signing Eric Decker from the Denver Broncos. Decker was handed a large contract by the Jets, which naturally came with expectations that were unlikely to be reached by Decker with the Jets’ poor QB play.

Despite Geno Smith and Michael Vick struggling at the QB position, and the fact that Decker was hampered by a hamstring injury that limited him for a few weeks, he was able to put together a good season. In 2014, Decker caught 74 passes for 962 yards with five touchdown catches, capped off with a career week the final game of the season against the Miami Dolphins.
