One of the biggest offseason acquisitions in 2014 in New York was theNew York JetssigningEric Deckerfrom the Denver Broncos. Decker was handed a large contract by the Jets, which naturally came with expectations that were unlikely to be reached by Decker with the Jets’ poor QB play.

DespiteGeno SmithandMichael Vickstruggling at the QB position, and the fact that Decker was hampered by a hamstring injury that limited him for a few weeks, he was able to put together a good season. In 2014, Decker caught 74 passes for 962 yards with five touchdown catches, capped off with acareer week the final gameof the season against the Miami Dolphins.
