9.) Jason Pierre-Paul

The 2014 season got off to a slow start for New York Giants’ DE Jason Pierre-Paul, but as the season came to a close, Pierre-Paul caught fire, and that translated into wins for the Giants.

Pierre-Paul finished with a team-high 12.5 sacks, which was 5.5 more than the next highest on the Giants. JPP also had 77 total tackles which was fourth highest on the Giants, and he was first on the Giants with three forced fumbles.

His future with the Giants is unclear, but Pierre-Paul certainly had an impact on the Giants’ defense this season after a few down seasons due to injuries.
