11.) Muhammad Wilkerson
New York Jets’ defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson may have been effected by the Jets’ poor front office, as in 2014 it was expected that general manager John Idzik would be looking to lock up arguably the Jets’ best player to a long-term deal.
With no contract extension, Wilkerson still had a very good 2014 that included a toe injury that led to some time missed time. Wilkerson was third on the Jets with 5.5 sacks, first with 11 tackles for loss, and also had an impressive five passes deflected in 2014.
Wilkerson was hoping to be a Pro Bowl player this season, but was named an alternative, which means that is still a possibility.
