17.) Jaroslav Halak
The New York Islanders are looking like a real contender as the 2014-15 season has been a very good one so far, and a main reason for that was signing Jaroslav Halak in the offseason.
It’s a small sample size for Halak in New York, but it is an impressive one so far. In 26 games, Halak is 20-6 with three shutouts and a .917 save percentage.
Halak set an Islanders’ franchise-record with 11 straight victories that surpassed the great Billy Smith in the record books.
2015 is looking bright for the Islanders if Halak can continue his great play.
