CLEANTHONY EARLY. Inc.. Cleanthony Early wasn’t a big part of the rotation, but he is now sidelined after having arthroscopic surgery to get rid of some floating debris in his knee. He would be better suited to go back down to the D-League once he is healthy to get some playing time, as there isn’t much to go around with the Knicks currently.. .
Not much to be said here. Sometimes one of the shooting guard trio will slide over depending on the lineup, but this is really all Anthony. This has been a problem since he came to New York, as they have never been able to find a suitable backup for him. Travis Outlaw was supposed to be, but he didn’t even make it out of training camp. Maybe Cleanthony Early can develop into that, but missing a chunk of his rookie season won’t help him or the Knicks.
