James Shields

‘Big game James’ will be on the radar of many teams after a very good 2014 regular season, but he did not live up to his name in the postseason. Despite a poor postseason, Shields will get a nice contract from a team.

If the Yankees go with Shields he does bring experience of pitching in the AL East with the Tampa Bay Rays. Shields is 32 years old now, and has a lot of innings on his arm, which could be a concern for the Yankees since he’ll want a long-term deal.
