Bon Jovi, Beyonce & Bieber Take To New York Stage This Summer

From Beyonce to Bon Jovi, the Big Apple’s live music schedule this summer can boast a whole host of superstars from the worlds of rock, hip-hop, R&B and pop. Here’s a look at five major artists who have released New York concert tickets for dates over the next month.
Proving that rumours of his demise earlier this year were greatly exaggerated, Lil Wayne will head to Wantagh’s Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on July 19 during the second week of his 40-date America’s Most Wanted tour. Supported by T.I., 2 Chainz, Hit Boy and G-Eazy, the rap mogul will no doubt perform several tracks from his recent chart-topping album, I Am Not A Human Being II, alongside the likes of breakthrough hit “Go D.J.,” US number one “Lollipop” and several solo versions of his star-studded collaborations. Lil Wayne tickets for this show are available on TiqIQ at a get-in price of $58 and an average price of $224.
The kings of pop and hip-hop respectively then bring their Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour into town at Yankee Stadium on the same night with Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z tickets on offer at a get-in price of $84 and $205. Alongside their recent Top 3 collaboration, “Suit & Tie,” expect to hear the best of their back catalogues including US Hot 100 number ones “SexyBack,” “Empire State Of Mind,” “My Love” and “What Goes Around… Comes Around.” Fans can also get their hands on seats for a second date at the same venue on July 20 ($92/$199).
Currently in the middle of their mammoth Because We Can tour, Bon Jovi will stop off at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for the last two dates of its second North American leg on July 25 and 27. In addition to material from their current What About Now LP, the New Jersey rock legends have also been performing their most anthemic hits from the 80s (“Livin’ On A Prayer,” “You Give Love A Bad Name”), 90s (“Always,” “Keep The Faith”) and 00s (“It’s My Life,” “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”) during recent sets. Self-described as ‘the biggest show on earth,’ New York welcomes Canadian tween sensation Justin Bieber’s Believe world tour for the fourth time on August 2.
