New York Yankees: Judge’s swing is a Home Run Derby Miracle
New York Yankees rookie sensation Aaron Judge smoked through opponents en route to a Home Run Derby win. His swing is a Home Run Derby miracle.
Last night, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge absolutely proved me wrong.
In the weeks leading up to the Home Run Derby I was furious that Judge decided to enter it, but now, I am a changed man.
Last night Aaron Judge put on a show that the New York Yankees, and Major League Baseball, has been in need of for a long time. He did things that most thought were impossible, and he did them with ease.
My biggest fear heading into the Derby was that Judge would completely change to a pull-ball

I was very wrong. In fact, I couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Judge dazzled by hitting balls all over the park for home runs, and even mishit a few balls that got over the right field fence.
His butter smooth swing is a Home Run Derby miracle.
It was effortless, elegant, and almost perfect. He was put on a national stage, and he delivered better than anyone could have imagined.
I’ll confess, I loved watching the entire Derby. It was a show baseball needed, and with a guy as dominant as Judge, fans across the nation will now want their best player going up against the Behemoth from the Bronx.
I am a man to admit when I am wrong, and by God was I wrong. I’m now looking forward to next year to see if anyone can match Judges elegance in the box.
This writer is a changed man because of Aaron Judge, and I thank him for it. I’m no longer a fan to harp on Bobby Abreu’s 2005 tragedy. Instead, I look past it.
Thank you Mr. Judge, for making a fan out of a non-believer.
