New York Yankees former All-Star Alex Rodriguez is set to become the next color analyst for Fox Sports. He should provide great insight from the booth.

Former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez is set to join the Fox Sports broadcast booth for the first time tomorrow night.

The Yankees will play the Royals in Kansas City. Rodriguez started with the Fox Sports team back in 2015 when he provided analysis during the World Series between the Mets and Royals. He then came back for the 2016 playoffs following his unusual retirement.

Rodriguez has been with Fox Sports 1 since March, mainly giving analysis on Fox MLB Saturday. He is also MLB WhipAround, FS1’s pregame show.

This story was first reported by Fox Sports.

"Rodriguez Joins Emmy-Nominated Broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt and Two-Time Emmy-Winning Reporter Ken RosenthalNew York, NY – World Series Champion and three-time American League Most Valuable Player Alex Rodriguez makes his broadcasting booth debut Thursday night as color analyst for the New York Yankees at Kansas City Royals at 8:00 PM ET on FS1. He joins play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and reporter Ken Rosenthal, both Emmy Award nominees this year."

Rodriguez had a long career with the Yankees, and it seems fitting for his debut to be on a game for the Bombers.
