The Ottawa Senators face the New York Rangers tonight in Game 6 of their second-round matchup at Madison Square Garden. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The New York Rangers are facing elimination tonight in Game 6 against the Ottawa Senators. The Senators took a 3-2 series lead over the weekend, picking up a victory over the Rangers in Game 5. Now the Rangers will look to force a decisive Game 6 back in the Canadian Tire Centre.

The Rangers were very close to taking a 3-2 series lead on Saturday. With fewer than 90 seconds remaining in the game, former Ranger Derick Brassard scored the tying goal. Overtime didn’t last much longer, as Kyle Turris scored fewer than 6:30 into overtime to give the Senators a victory.

The Rangers have a big advantage in net with Henrik Lundqvist. Lundqvist excels in elimination games, so the Rangers are hoping that continues tonight. In 11 home elimination games since 2008, Lundqvist is 10-1 with 1.05 goals against with a .965 save percentage and two shutouts.

More from New York Rangers

"“I think it helps a lot of guys to know what type of mindset you need,” Lundqvist said. “It’s not so much about game plan. It’s going to come down to how you focus, how you manage your thoughts, and from there you’re going to execute better.”"

The Rangers have pretty much dominated this whole series. The Senators have held a lead for all of 13:10 minutes in six games; yet, they are the ones with the series lead. Coach Alain Vigneault said he would stress to his players not to get frustrated on the ice.

"“We’re controlling the elements we can control,” Vigneault said. “Our intentions are to continue to play. Obviously Ottawa’s intentions are to end this series. It should make for a great hockey game, but we’re going to be ready come puck drop and we’re going to compete real hard.”"

It is do-or-die time tonight for the Rangers. They have been the better team all series, but have crumbled a few times at the end. They can hang with the Senators and have the advantage tonight being home.

The Rangers should have confidence coming into this game based on how they have played a majority of the series. With Lundqvist in net, the Rangers always have a chance to win. But, the Senators are going to playing without any pressure tonight as they know they will be returning home for Game 7 should they lose tonight.
