The 2017 NFL Draft is here, and Todd McShay of ESPN.com has completed his final mock draft. Who did he have the New York Giants selecting?

Coming into the NFL Draft, the New York Giants will be on the clock with the 23rd overall pick. After a strong 2016 season, the Giants are looking to make that next step to becoming a great NFL team.

Last season, one of the main struggles for the Giants was at left tackle. Former first round pick, Ereck Flowers, didn’t have a good second season in the NFL, and it was a major issue for the Giants’ offense.

Being unable to properly protect the blindside of Eli Manning resulted in the Giants not being able to throw the ball down the field. With one of the best weapons in the NFL in Odell Beckham Jr., this was certainly something that hurt the offense.

With the 23rd pick, Todd McShay has the Giants addressing the problem at left tackle by selecting Garett Bolles from Utah. Here’s what McShay had to say about the pick.

"Ereck Flowers hasn’t gotten the job done at left tackle since the Giants selected him No. 9 overall in 2015. Bolles, who’s the most athletic lineman in this class, has the ability to be a starting left tackle."

With the Giants being so close to being a true contender in the NFC, improving at left tackle could be the final piece. Generally, it is hard to find a starting caliber left tackle this late in the draft. However, Bolles appears to have the skills to do it.

If the Giants did draft Bolles, it would surely help strengthen their offensive line. In addition to the left tackle position being a weakness, the right side wasn’t much better. Having either Bolles or Flowers there would be an improvement.

The Giants could go in a few different directions on Thursday night. However, the offensive line is certainly a position to keep an eye on.
