Recent Brooklyn Nets rumors have been about their interest in guard Milos Teodosic, who is currently playing overseas.

With the season over for Brooklyn, there have been some Nets rumors about what the offseason plan will be.

Due to the Nets not having the rights to their first-round pick this season, they are going to be missing a chance to draft a franchise player. The Nets finished with the worst record in the NBA, but the rights to their pick belong to the Boston Celtics.

While the Nets do have a pick in the late part of the first round, they are missing out on landing a really talented player. One bright spot for the Nets this offseason is that they do have money to spend. For Brooklyn, they already have their eye on point guard Milos Teodosic.

"“We’re heading over to meet with Mikhail this week, so we’ll sit down with him and give him the plan and discuss things with him,” Marks said to Brian Lewis of the New York Post. “We’ve had an open dialogue really throughout the course of the season. It’s been terrific. Mikhail has been back and forth here a number of times, so now we’re going to fly over there and sit with him and meet with him.”"

Teodosic is 30-years-old and he is expected to entertain coming to the NBA for next season. Both general manager Sean Marks and head coach Kenny Atkinson are heading over to see him play in the EuroLeague playoffs.

"“At his age, his stature, he’s going to look for a fit where someone gives him the ball, looks past his deficiencies and lets him play as what he is: one of the premier pick-and-roll players in the world,” Fraschilla said to Lewis. “I could see him in Kenny’s system. [Atkinson] understands the Euro game, pacing, spacing.“Offensively, he’s the best passer in the world, from a purely offensive standpoint. Chris Paul is a Hall of Famer, but as far as a pure passer, [Teodosic] might be the most creative passer in the world today. Now, he will not guard a chair, but he’s a brilliant offensive player and an ultra-competitor.”"

Teodosic would be a good fit on the Nets if he does decide to make the jump to the NBA. He is an extremely good passer, and would certainly get a chance to play for the Nets.

Also, Atkinson is considered to be one of the best coaches in the NBA at grooming point guards. The money aspect shouldn’t be too much of an issue for Brooklyn, as it will be more of it Teodosic wants to play for the Nets.
