Giants fans are speculating that the signing of Brandon Marshall could be the best free agency move the team has ever made… let’s all take it easy for a second.

Signing Marshall is unbelievable, but best the team has ever made? That’s a bit much. Look, Marshall is an unbelievable player. A perennial superstar even, but he hasn’t done anything in blue to prove that he’s the best free agent signing the Giants have ever made.

Marshall is hands down one of the biggest superstars the Giants have ever signed, but to call him the best signing ever is a bit of an overstatement. Marshall could be the piece to make the Giants a Super Bowl winning team, but until that happens, everything will just be speculation.

In the last 15 years or so, the Giants have made some signings that have made good teams into great teams. There have been players on both sides of the ball to take New York by storm, and Marshall could join the likes of them, but it will be hard to crack these top players.
