If there is one thing that this first week of Spring Training has proved for the New York Yankees, it’s that Brian Cashman’s trades to restock the farm system are paying dividends.

There is a plethora of young talent in camp with the Yankees, but there have been several players standing out that look to have “stud” written all over them. From the mound to the batter’s box, the Yankees younger players have exceeded expectations through the first week.

Of course, there are always guys that come to spring training, but that is the last that we see of them. Some players will never see time in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium before being thrown away like yesterday’s paper. The youth movement in Tampa, Florida has been something Yankees fans have looked forward to for some time with the moves that Cashman made. But, which players are here to stay, and which are just a flash-in-the-pan?

The Yankees have seen players come and go quickly through the team’s system in recent years, but something tells me that some of these guys are going to have a great tenure in pinstripes. Check out our slideshow of the five players that have stood out thus far for the Yankees in Spring Training.
