One of the biggest positions of need for the Jets is at quarterback. However, free agency is very rarely the time to sign a franchise quarterback. While the Jets might sign a quarterback this offseason, don’t expect it to be a big name.
In addition to needing a quarterback, the Jets could also use some help along their offensive line. The offensive line to a step backward for the Jets in 2016, and they could certainly use a left tackle. They recently releasedRyan Cladyafter just one season with the team, as that was a risk that didn’t pay off.
Despite having a good defense on paper heading in 2016, the unit was a disappointment overall. They will surely be trying to spend some of their new-found money in the secondary. With NFL free agency just a few days away, here are five big-name players the Jets should sign.
