By Nick Ziegler
On Sunday, the New York Jets were able to earn their fourth victory of the season against the San Francisco 49ers. What are five takeaways from the win?
It did not like it was going to be a good Sunday afternoon for the New York Jets against the San Francisco 49ers. For the second week in a row, the Jets trailed by a score of 14-0 to start the game. This time, the Jets didn’t give up on the game.
After the poor first half, the Jets fought back to tie the game late in the fourth quarter. After a big stop on defense in overtime, the Jets were able to win the game on a rushing touchdown by Bilal Powell.
As the Jets move to a 4-9 record on the season, the team will continue to evaluate some of their young talents. All eyes were on quarterback Bryce Petty, and for good reason. The final games of the season for the Jets will be very important. As the franchise hopes to move forward, they must find out whether Petty can be their starting quarterback.
