The New York Giants landed on John Clayton’s list of most intriguing games for the remainder of the 2016 regular season multiple times.

The New York Giants are usually a solid draw for the NFL in television ratings. They are in a big market and are usually a competitive team that will draw a national audience. New York will have a total of at least five prime-time games on national television.

This season they have deserved those games. The Giants essentially play a close game every week with nine of their 10 games being decided by seven or fewer points. They have been successful in those games, going 7-3 thus far.

Multiple games this season have been great ones to watch because they come down to the final plays. Divisional games against the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Philadelphia Eagles are always worth tuning in to, especially when all of the teams are playing well. At the time of this post, all four teams have records above the .500 mark and are fighting for playoff spots.

There is a chance that three of the four teams will make the postseason in the NFC, representing the NFC East well despite people believing the division would be having another down year. Few rivalries compare to those in the NFC East, so those matchups alone are worth watching. But, since all of the teams are playing well, they will be a part of plenty of intriguing games down the stretch run of the 2016 season.

John Clayton compiled a list of the most intriguing games through the remainder of the season, not including Week 17. The Giants landed on that list multiple times with half of their remaining games being picked as intriguing games by Clayton.

Coming in at No.2 on his list is the Giants second matchup of the season with the Cowboys. The Giants handed the Cowboys their only loss of the season in Week 1 and the rematch in a little more than two weeks is a huge game. Here is what Clayton has to say about the game.

"It might be a reach to think the Giants can catch the Cowboys, but their improved defense could make this a fascinating game. Plus, New York is the only team to beat Dallas so far."

Coming in at No.8 on the list is the Giants matchup with the Eagles. The Giants won the first matchup of the season in Week 9 28-23. The Giants took advantage of early turnovers by rookie quarterback Carson Wentz; will they be able to replicate that performance in Philadelphia on Thursday Night Football? Here is what Clayton had to say.

"All of the NFC East games not involving the Cowboys are for wild-card seeding. Eli Manning has to watch out for Jim Schwartz’s defense."

The final game that the Giants take part in on the list comes in at No.14. The Giants will travel to take on another storied franchise in the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field. The Giants have a classic trap game against the Cleveland Browns that they need to handle business in before facing off with the Steelers. Here is what Clayton had to say about the matchup between two historic franchises.

"Eli Manning can only meet Ben Roethlisberger every four years or in a Super Bowl. It’s still a treat seeing two of the great quarterbacks from the 2004 draft."

There you have it. Out of 15 games that Clayton picked the Giants are involved in three of them. The NFC East as a whole was featured plenty, as at least one team from the division was taking part in six of the games.
