The St. Louis Blues face the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on November 1st, 2016. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The St. Louis Blues will travel to take on the New York Rangers tonight. It will be the second time these two teams face off this season, with the Blues winning the first game 3-2. The Blues and Rangers enter this contest as two of the best teams in the NHL.

The Blue have a record of 5-2-2 for 12 points, while the Rangers have 12 points as well with a record of 6-3-0. St. Louis comes into the game on a cold streak offensively.

The Rangers saw first-hand that the Blues could struggle on offense. The Rangers outshot the Blues 15-0 in the third period but were unable to put one home. The Blues have hit another rough stretch offensively, as they have three goals in their last three games.

They were able to pick up a victory in their last game, though, as Jake Allen shutout the Los Angeles Kings 1-0. Allen will be in net for the Blues this time, as the Rangers faced backup Carter Hutton the first time around.

More from New York Rangers

Allen isn’t worried about the lack of scoring, as he believes it is a blip in a long season. “It’s just one of those little stretches where pucks are either hitting a stick, hitting a post, when most of the time they’re going in,” Allen said. “That’s going to turn for us soon. We’ve just got to work through it. The goals will come.”

The Blues will have to get on track offensively if they want to keep up with the Rangers. The Rangers enter the game with the highest-scoring offense in the NHL averaging 3.89 goals per game.

It is difficult to key in on one player, as the Rangers have multiple scoring threats. Seven players on the team have at least three goals, with rookie Jimmy Vesey leading the way with five. Their offense could get even stronger with Chris Kreider returning to the lineup tonight after missing four games; it is the first time all season the Rangers will have their full lineup on the ice.

Can the Blues overcome the Rangers offense and dominance at home, where they are 5-1 this season. Can’t figure out where to watch the game? Don’t worry, we have all the information you need to watch the game.
