The New York Knicks face the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on October 20th, 2016. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets finish up their respective preseasons tonight at Barclays Center. It will be the second time that the two teams face off this preseason, as the Knicks won the first meeting at Madison Square Garden 116-98.

The Knicks enter the game after defeating the Boston Celtics last night 121-96. The Celtics may not have used their starting five, but it was a strong performance nonetheless from the Knicks, who got solid contributions from everyone that entered the game.

The Nets come into the game riding  a four-game losing streak. After defeating the Detroit Pistons in their first preseason game, the Nets have lost their next four, surrendering at least 116+ points in three of the four games.

It is a look ahead to what we could see a lot of during the regular season, as the Nets are projected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. Can they finish the preseason on a high note with a victory heading into the regular season?

It could truly be a tossup, as each team could rest some regulars in preparation for the real games beginning next week. Derrick Rose is not expected to play, unless he begs his way into the lineup according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. The coaching staff is against him playing as he has been away from the team since October 4th because of his civil trial and has not been able to practice.

Carmelo Anthony sat out last night’s game for rest, so there is a chance we don’t see him tonight again. But, in the last tuneup for the regular season, it would be smart to get everyone out there and use this as a dry run. Is that what will happen? We will have to wait and see to find out. Hopefully some of the regulars still take the court tonight, as it is the only opportunity some people will have to see the Knicks and Nets play this season. They won’t play regular minutes, but seeing the big names like Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, Brook Lopez, and Jeremy Lin would be nice.
