The New York Islanders will be wrapping up their seven-game road trip against the New York Rangers on early Sunday evening.

Both New York teams are playing very well heading into the Sunday showdown at MSG, but the Islanders could use the points more than the Rangers at this point. The Islanders trail the Rangers by five points in the standings, but they do have a few games in hand to make up the ground.

This will be the third meeting between the Islanders and the Rangers as the Islanders were victorious in the first two behind some great goaltending by Jaroslav Halak. After two straight starts on the West Coast by Thomas Greiss, Halak is expected to be back in the net for the third time against the Rangers this season. This will be the first time the two meet at MSG this season, and the Rangers could be without their star goalie.

Henrik Lundqvist is questionable for the game on Sunday, but the Rangers should have some confidence in his backup, Antti Raanta, who made 32 saves in a win against the Washington Capitals.

It will surely be a great game between the two teams as MSG will have a playoff feel on Sunday with these two rivals going at it. Here is everything you need to know to enjoy the third game of the season between the Islanders and the Rangers.
