The New York Knicks have hit a bit of a tough stretch in recent games, losing three straight to the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Heat again. None of the games were particularly close either, as the Heat beat the Knicks in both games by 17 and 19 points, while they fell to the Magic by nine. The Knicks will now look to get things back on track against the Houston Rockets tonight.

This will be the second and final time that the Knicks and Rockets play against each other this season. Their first meeting of the season was just over a week ago, as the two teams played in Houston in November 21st. That was a hotly contested game, as the Knicks were able to take home a victory in the second night of a back-to-back 107-102.

The Rockets will be looking to get some revenge on the Knicks and get their season on track as well. They will enter this game with a 6-10 record, narrowly defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 116-114 on Friday night, behind 50 points from James Harden. That is only one of two wins that the Rockets have had in their last nine games, so they would certainly like to get a victory over the Knicks not only to exact revenge, but get their season heading in the right direction.

This will be the first game of a back-to-back road set for the Rockets, while the Knicks will be playing their second game of a four-game homestand. They have struggled at home this season, so this is a game that both teams will want to win to start getting things headed in the right direction.

The Knicks were able to end an 11-game losing streak to the Rockets with their victory last weekend, which was only the second in the last 21. Will they now be able to get a winning streak going against the Rockets of their own?

Check out our keys to the game for the Knicks when they host the Rockets at Madison Square Garden tonight and look to get back to .500.
