Tyrod Taylor Has Big Game

In recent weeks, the Jets secondary has been picked apart by varying levels of quarterbacks. We saw one of the greats in Tom Brady do it surgically without a run game, an up-and-comer in Derek Carr torch them, and then the improving Blake Bortles almost pull out a victory for the Jaguars. Now the Jets will be faced with a dual-threat that has his weapons around him getting healthy; a poor combination.

Taylor has good in his first career chance as a starting quarterback. He is completing 71.8 percent of his passes and averaging 213 yards per game. He also has 10 touchdowns to go with only four interceptions, three of which he threw in the second game of the season against the Patriots. Where Taylor is really dangerous is with his feet when he runs.

Taylor is a true dual-threat quarterback, which makes him difficult to defend. He has gained 231 yards on 41 carries, good for an average of 5.6 yards per carry and two touchdowns. This is where he will hurt the Jets. Despite having the best run defense in the NFL, the Jets have not faced a player with the skillset of Taylor.

Taylor will have at least 300 all purpose yards, as the Bills will have have to figure out ways to manufacture offense that is not just ramming LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams into the tackles.
