Brooklyn Nets News: The Nets released their full 2015 preseason schedule; check out when and where they will be playing as they prepare for the 2015-16 season.

The Brooklyn Nets had a better than expected offseason, adding strong players in the draft and clearing some cap space to avoid paying as much luxury tax as they have in past seasons. With training camp right around the corner, that means preseason games will be coming soon as well. We will know now where the Nets will be playing, as they announced their full preseason schedule leading up to the 2015-16 season.

The Nets will be playing six games to prepare for the season, half of which will be played at their home court at the Barclay’s Center. The other three will be on the road, with one at the Palace of Auburn Hills against the Detroit Pistons and one at the TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics. The final game they will be playing away from the Barclay’s Center will be at a neutral site against the Philadelphia 76ers in upstate New York in Albany.

The standout contest on the schedule will be the one that opens the preseason, as the Nets will be opening up against an international opponent. This has become a popular thing for NBA teams to do in recent seasons, as the game of basketball has really expanded it’s borders. The Nets won’t miss out on the opportunity to try and gain more fans, especially overseas, and will join in on the international fun.
