The 2014-2015 season has not gone as planned for the New York Knicks, as they are currently on a franchise worst win-loss pace with an 8-36 record. A recent hot streak on the backs of three players on 10-day contracts finally ended a franchise worst 16-game losing streak, but the Knicks are obviously still an extreme long shot to reach the postseason.

With the season going in the direction that it is, what is there to look forward to the rest of the season for the Knicks? Look no further. Earlier in the week, we took a look back on the first half of the season and some of the takeaways; now we will take a look ahead and see what the rest of the season can hold for the Knicks.

When wins and losses aren’t the main objective for a team, things could get really interesting on and off the court. So while the 2015 playoffs do not seem to be in the Knicks future, there are still plenty of reasons to keep an eye on them.
