Penguins vs. Islanders

Friday Night will be a big one in the Eastern Conference of the NHL, as the Pittsburgh Penguins will be visiting the New York Islanders in a battle for first place.

It’s no surprise that the Penguins are near the top of the Conference at this point in the season, and they likely didn’t think a game against the Islanders would have first place implications this late in the season.

The Eastern Conference is extremely tight with the first and eighth seeds only being separated by eight points in the standings.

Here are five things to watch as the Penguins visit the Islanders on Friday night in the Nassau Coliseum.
