Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour Heads For New York

New Yorkers with Miley Cyrus tickets won’t have to wait too long to see the infamous twerker in action with her headline-grabbing Bangerz tour set to roll into the Big Apple for two shows later this month.

The 39-date North American trek, which kicked off in Vancouver back in February, will first visit Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 5 – tickets for which are available on TiqIQ at a get-in price of $80 and an average price of $233 – before returning to the city nearly three weeks later at Uniondale’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Apr 24 ($56/$233).

Fans with Miley Cyrus New York tickets should of course expect a typically provocative show with the first half of the tour featuring everything from Cyrus straddling a giant hot dog to a male dance troupe wearing nothing but boxer shorts and trainers to a routine mocking Bill Clinton’s sex scandal as well as an audience kiss cam, a racy black and white video montage and the odd nod to her controversial MTV VMA performance.

But alongside all the outrageous stunts, those with Miley Cyrus tickets can also look forward to support slots from hedonistic Swedish duo Icona Pop, who scored one of last year’s big summer hits with “I Love It,” and fellow wild child Sky Ferreira, who finally released her debut album last October after years of being stuck in ‘development hell.’

Cyrus, who concludes the tour’s first leg at Mashantucket’s Foxwoods Resort Casino on Apr 25 ($159/$649) before crossing the Atlantic for a 23-date European trek, will also treat those with Miley Cyrus New York tickets to several of her earlier hits (“Party In The USA,” “Can’t Be Tamed”) in addition to the majority of her fourth studio effort Bangerz, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 last year.
