NFL Mock Draft 2014: Pre-Senior Bowl

With the Senior Bowl coming up on Saturday, it is officially time to start speculating for this spring’s NFL Draft. This year’s draft class is nothing at all like last year’s, and with a record setting 98 underclassmen declaring for the NFL Draft one can guarantee an eventful next few months. This draft also consists of quite a number of top-notch skill players, while last year’s class was extremely linemen heavy.

Here is EWB’s NFL Mock Draft for 2014:

  1. Cleveland Browns (Potential Trade with Texans): Teddy Bridgewater, QB Louisville
  2. St. Louis Rams (From Washington Redskins): Jake Matthews, OT Texas A&M
  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Blake Bortles, QB UCF
  4. Houston Texans (Potential Trade with Browns): Johnny Manziel, QB Texas A&M
  5. Oakland Raiders: Sammy Watkins, WR Clemson
  6. Atlanta Falcons: Jadeveon Clowney, DE South Carolina
  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Greg Robinson, OT Auburn
  8. Minnesota Vikings: Anthony Barr, OLB UCLA

  11. Tennessee Titans: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S Alabama
  12. New York Giants: Taylor Lewan, OT Michigan
  13. St. Louis Rams: Mike Evans, WR Texas A&M
  14. Chicago Bears: Timmy Jernigan, DT Florida State
  15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Darqueze Dennard
  16. Baltimore Ravens: Marqise Lee, WR USC
  17. Dallas Cowboys: Calvin Pryor, FS Louisville
  18. New York Jets: Eric Ebron, TE University of North Carolina
  19. Miami Dolphins: Cyrus Kouandjio, OT Alabama

  25. San Diego Chargers: Bradley Roby, CB Ohio State
  26. Cleveland Browns (From trade with Colts): Odell Beckham Jr., WR LSU
  27. New Orleans Saints: Zach Martin, OT Notre Dame
  28. Carolina Panthers: Jordan Matthews, WR Vanderbilt
  29. New England Patriots: Austin Seferian-Jenkins
  30. San Francisco 49ers: Stephon Tuitt, DL Notre Dame
  31. Denver Broncos (Pending Super Bowl Outcome): Jason Verrett, CB TCU
  32. Seattle Seahawks (Pending Super Bowl Outcome): Paul Richardson, WR Colorado

Despite what this NFL Mock Draft says, a lot can change in the months leading up to the draft. Heck, a lot can change just this Saturday in the Senior Bowl. Will Derek Carr play his way into the first round? Will players like OT Zach Martin or WR Jordan Matthews increase their draft status with excellent performance or disappoint on Saturday and drop on draft boards everywhere?

There is still a long ways to go, and stay tuned for more NFL Mock Drafts from EWB as May 6th approaches faster and faster.
