E.J. Manuel: The Future of Buffalo

Wow. I think those were the words that left everyone’s mouth when Roger Goodell said E.J. Manuel. This surprise pick may change the Buffalo franchise for the next ten years. His mechanics are solid, his accuracy is good(although there’s still room for improvement), and his ability to scramble out of the pocket and run is a huge bonus for any team. Manuel gives Buffalo that dual threat option that they never had in the past with Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Although it was believed that the Bills were going to pursue Ryan Nassib because of Marrone’s influence, but he chose Manuel over Nassib AND Geo Smith. Manuel, who sounded ecstatic to be a Buffalo Bill in his post-pick interview, will have a tough career ahead of him with Buffalo, although he may turn tis team around.
